Is anyone currently applying to the Bon Secours nursing program ? Does anyone know if it is hard to get in? I am currently going to JTCC and have all of my pre requisites except one which is bio 102 . My pre requisite gpa is a 2.9 and i am retaking two classes so i can raise up my cummulative gpa. I went to an information session and the school seems really good. I don't know if my gpa is considered too low to apply. The minimum is a 2.5. I hope there are others out there who are going through the same thing and if you have any information or experience from Bon secours program please let me know! I have emailed Mrs. ****** my transcripts (unofficial ) to see what she can tell me about my college course history . I really hope there are other people who are applying for the spring 2016 program like me .

I am in a similar situation. My gpa is at 2.5! So I was incredibly nervous. I have really bad grades from about 16/17 years ago. Unfortunately, it follows me everywhere. Maria said jus try anyway. So I submitted a personal statement along with my essay. Just explaining my immaturity back then and how I'm a different person today. Sooooooo I guess we will see if it works. I applied for spring 2016 also. Waiting is nerve recking..but we still have 6 weeks to go! Lol... Good luck!!

Hey there!! did you ever hear back??
Hey there!! Did end up applying and how did it go? I have a 3.3 GPA and was wondering what my chances were!
Hi Beesmorales, I did get accepted for spring 2016 and just started my third semester. Your GPA is good and I know others who got accepted with a 3.3 GPA. I can tell you what I think helped me get in. I studied the ATI TEAS test book until I felt I knew it inside and out and took the practice tests through the ATI website. I ended up scoring a 94 which is above the average of students accepted into the program. My GPA was 3.7 and I spent a lot of time on my essay. My two references were excellent; I couldn't have asked for more. My advice is to do your absolute best in every area. The competition is great and so you've really got to put in your best effort. Good luck to you!! If you feel inclined, I'd love to hear how things turn out for you.
Hey there My3pumpkins! Thank you so much for responding! I really appreciate it! Also, congrats on getting accepted and starting your third semester! Out of curiosity did you have a bachelors in a separate degree? I have one in Spanish translation and it says on the website that I do not need to take the TEAS test because I already have a bachelors but i'm wondering if it will make a difference? I am applying in March and am so nervous... I work at a Bon Secours facility and will get one of my references from my boss there. How are you liking the program so far?!
