Board Review Books (CRNA)

I am looking for some suggestions for a good board review book, I am just starting my first year as a SRNA. Basically, I am looking for something that has practice questions that I can do while I am studying for exams. A senior student recommended Valley Anesthesia, but it is really expensive. I have a copy of Essentials of Nurse Anesthesia (McIntosh), but I am not that crazy about it.

Thanks for any suggestions, Heather

This bool is in question and answer format but not multiple choice. I have found it to be a good review before tests.

Try either "Anesthesia Secrets" by Duke(about $38) or "Anesthesiology Review" by Faust(about $59). I use Dukes book a lot right now since I am only in my first year. It is also in Q&A format and it is a good straight forward review of a lot of different topics. I keep it in my gym bag and read it while doing cardio! Faust's book covers a lot of topics and gives the 'down and dirty' info. I think it is also an excellent book and I do use it as a supplemental review for exams.

Valley may be worth the money as you get closer to graduation, but for good review as you move through your program, I think either of the ones I mentioned are valuable. IMO.
