BMCC rejection to City Tech?

I've learned from this site that failing out of a CUNY nursing program pretty much bars you from entry into others.

But if one was rejected from entry into, say, the BMCC program for not making the cutoff, could that person still apply and possibly be accepted into, say, the City Tech program? How damaging is having that rejection, to future prospects?

You not getting into one CUNY school Program has no bearing on another. Failing out matters not missing the cutoff.
