Hi,
I'm currently a Bio major with a cumulative of approx: 2.5. I got really really distracted my sophomore/junior year and it brought my GPA down...a lot, as you can see. Well, I've finally grown up and realized that I've wasted my time, my parents' money, and my future by not focusing on my education. I'm planning on retaking a bunch of classes so that it will boost up my GPA. If I go into nursing, I want to go all the way. I'm ideally looking into the USD ELMSN program. By the time that I apply, I will have 1-2 years of volunteering & possibly be working as a CNA. Do you think I'm wasting my time? Or do second chances really exist?
Btw, I'm new to nursing...before, I had absolutely no direction with my Bio major or my life..
I'll appreciate any feedback or advice! Thank you!

I think you have a chance if you are able to boost your GPA up to a 3.0. That is the minimum GPA for most ELMSN programs. Plus, your CNA and volunteering plans should help a lot.
