Thanks for the advice... the problem is.. its not just Biology its A&P and I really need this class to get into the nursing program. THat's the main reason why i'm so nervous and I did look for the sylllabus but I only found the Lab syllabus. There's nothing for the lecture course. I just want to have an idea so I know what I should be reading a head of time.
A&P is also simply acquired knowledge. If you read (read until you understand), take good notes, study, and get a tutor if needed, you'll do just fine. It would also be very helpful to say good bye to any anxieties you have for the intensive session. I also took the intensive A&P II over the summer. I found that it was easier for me to stay focused on the challenge at hand because there wasn't an opportunity to fall behind.
I took my pre-reqs at cuny and I was able to get my science syllabus from the website. It's a good idea to start your readings before the semester begins. Once again, good luck!
THanks, I really appreciate the help. Yea i definitely need to get rid of this anxiety. Oh wow you took all your pre-req at the cunys schools that good. ARe you still attending a Cuny school for nursing or are you in a private school now?
I'm also taking this medical dosage class and tried emailing my prof to ask about the tablet and Caplets solutions calculation. I'm so unsure if I should leave it in decimal form or in fractions b/c some answers are 1 1/2 and other are like 1.5 not sure which to stick with.. oh and some answers are like 2.60 not sure if I should round it up or leave in decimal form. Do you still remember.. I tried researching this and checking the book but it doesn't say.
Here's a link for the BI thread that was started last Spring.
You may find it inspirational.

Hi i saw the posting.. seems interesting. I would like to try out for that school but i'm not sure about how much the tuition is.. I am going for my LPN at laguardia and hoping to get in next fall.. after that I might go for my RN.. that's the easiest way to get into the RN program if I go through LPN first even through the process is long. IF i get an A in both classes i'm taking this semester and an A for A&P1 in January my overall GPA should be around 3.93 which should almost guarantee me to get into the program.. fingers crossed.
