I'm interested in pursuing a BSN after I graduate from undergrad. I'm very interested in the accelerated nursing program at Binghamton University. I've read up about it and it says a 3.0 overall and prerequisite GPA is required for consideration for admission. Does anyone know the average stats of accepted students, and how competitive the program is to get into?
I messed up my freshman year grades, and have been working to pull myself back up. I'm at a 3.4 overall, with a 3.0 in prereqs, but I've only taken 3 so far, so I still have most of the prerequisites left to take. However, I did get a C- in one of the prereqs freshman year.
Does anyone know if my freshman year grades will significantly impact my chances for acceptance?
Thank you for any responses.
