best way to find pre-reqs of nurse practitioner programs

Published

I'm a non-nursing professional whose university/grad school studies were not nursing. In the Bay Area there is a nurse practitioner program (UCSF) program for non-nurses. What they call a Masters entry program (MEPN). Is there a link or database of these programs so I can know what they are & assess all the pre-reqs? I'm in Anatomy now and getting ready to take chemistry in the summer and I've heard some schools want different types of chemistry. So I'm looking for a consolidated list if at all possible. It would be wise! Any suggestions would be great. I would love to be a psychiatric nurse practitioner.

Hey... I tell you what I know about this programs. I also have a bachelor in another field. You need at least an associate nurse degree and then since you have a bachelor you can jump into a master(nurse practitioner). That's what I am doing. I am about to start the nursing program.

Yes, I don't think you need an associate for what the direct master's entry program. But, you are getting an associates in nursing and then going into the masters? thanks!
