I am moving to Orlando soon and am curious about the school systems (mainly middle schools) in the surrounding Orlando areas (definitely not Orlando central). I have a 13 y/o with Asperger's Syndrome, and am trying to find an A+ school to put him into. I have done some research and seemed to have found that Seminole County school system in general are among the best in the area. Is this true? Are there any others in different counties?
I will be renting a home down there, so I am trying to find one based in one of the better school districts.
Can anyone give some advice or experience with some of these school systems? Being that he is a special needs child, I need to find one with good special services staff.
thank you

Teague middle school in Altamonte springs. All three schools in the teague zone are A rated schools. Forest City elementary, Teague middle school, and Lake Brantely High.

My kids are homeschooled (very common in Orlando these days) but a close friend's daughter just finished at Teague and is now at Lake Brantley and they have been very happy with how things have been at both of these schools.
