My wife is ready to take the CPNE and would like to hear from others about the best location to take the exam.
We live in Washington, so California is likely the nearest location, but California has many exam locations.
Thanks for any input.

from reading various excelsior related message boards I tend to think it doesn't matter, I have heard that the majority of the CE people fly in from out of state anyways lol. Just as long as she is prepared and confident :)
Thanks! That will make her feel better.
Where are these Excelsior related boards you talk of? Thanks.

From what I've heard - the pass rate in Wisconsin is the highest. I live in Ohio and plan to go up there for my CPNE. I'll take whatever help I can get (even if it is fault logic)

I'm an LPN student thinking about continuing with Excelsior to go for RN. But a guy in my class said the clinical exam has a 90% fail rate. Is that true? What is the best way to prepare?

Not true at all.
It is all in how you prepare, and THIS is NOT the time to be dwelling on that ! Plenty of time for that as you approach the dreaded CPNE.
There are many great tips and sound advice on preparing for the CPNE on this BB (this forum) from way back when already, and EC sends you a monstrous workbook as well ... if you follow the workbook and take to heart all they tell you and go over in there, you'll do just fine.
Then you can always comce back here for last minute advice and support before the big day arrives....:)
