Best hours

Hi y'all,

I am a nurse , currently working in documention review. Have not done patient care in a while and have concentrated in case management lately

I have been lucky to have a 7-3 not weekends or holidays type a job for a couple of years now.

I recently decided to leave this pretty nice job for something for challenging but less hours

i have been fortunate enough to have been offered two different part time positions , one of them is exactly what I won't but requires for me to work one day of the weekend and the hours are 4 pm to midnight and 30 min away from my house

the other is 7-3 at my current job, but is in case management so nothing new there and requires less weekends days

i am really nervous in making a bad career move, more because I have learned that just the hours alone being convenient doesn't matter at the end, but I also acknowledge that the hours have to be practical with the day to day family life. I'm at the point in my life where I need more then a good pay and hours, I won't somethign to really excite me and enjoy as a nurse, but don't want regret choosing the wrong think for the wrong reason

I have not worked evenings in a long time, the position that I will be doing 4pm-midnight will be in an ER coordinator the flow of the admissions

i wonder if anyone has been in a similar situation in choosing the right job with the wrong hours and far from home.

I kind of want to chose that one but fear getting tired of the commute and the late hours

thanks
