Best Choice for Residency?

Hello, all,

I'd like to get some life decision feedback from anyone willing to help.

I am a paramedic with several years of 911 and peds ED experience, and my partner is an ED peds nurse. I am finishing nursing school next month. Our goal is to travel nurse together ASAP, so I'm trying to pick a job offer that will be fulfilling for the duration that I'll be there, but also hopefully make me a competitive traveler within a year ideally. Here are the job offers I've currently received:

1. Large busy metropolitan ED outside of Atlanta; not a trauma center. Mid-levels and attendings.

2. Small 12 bed fully functional freestanding ER that admits to its main hospital 1.5 miles away. I'm interested in this because I'd have a lot of autonomy; the ANM I met with said I'd have an opportunity to use both my medic and RN skills.

3. Small 12 bed rural-ish mixed ICU. Only RNs on the floor; no techs. Vents, art lines, medical patients, surgical patients, some neuro stepdown patients, cardiac patients except open heart. ICU also acts as vascular access, code team, rapid response team.

4. Critical care track at a large rural level 2 facility; it's about an hour away but pay is competitive and I'd have the opportunity to match into CVICU (ideally), CICU, trauma surgery ICU, neuro ICU after initial orientation.

5. I'm also expecting an offer from Erlanger's critical care track this upcoming week, but I'd either have a two hour commute one way or move (If it's the best option career wise I just might have to).

6. 60 bed level 2 metropolitan ED with a few peds beds.

I'm also expecting some more offers to come in since I've interviewed at a lot of places this week, but those are the front runners.
