Best choice for new grad nurse: L&D or perioperative?

Hello,

My name is Rachel and I am in nursing school and many nurses have told me to be a med surg new grad nurse to not get stuck. From clinicals I have discovered that I enjoy L&D but I also like pre-op (prepping pts for surgery) but I do not like being an OR nurse/scrub nurse--watching or being engaged in surgeries is NOT my thing haha. When I graduate which is a better choice for not getting stuck? Does pre-op count as being a med surg nurse? Thanks!
