what books are the best for MS?? what would you recommend for MS? Luckmann? Brunner? or Black?
I have a Luckmann 4th ed. but i think its too old so i'm in doubt if that's still ok to use for MS...
I also heard that Black is a combined idea of Brunner and LUckmann??
I haven't read Brunner and Black..

Well, the best book I have for Med-Surg is called "Straight A's in Medical-Surgical Nursing, 2nd edition", Lippincott, Williams and Wilkins. I got it on clearance at my school's bookstore. It seems to make it all very simple to understand without all the "seemingly important information" found in my big text book. It focuses on each disease and gives you signs/symptoms, patho information, diagnostic tests done, and more as well as some questions to go over. The cd included makes tests! REALLY GOOD!!!

I loved Karch[LWW] for Pharm. It was easy to read and understand.

Brunner is a pain to use, not well written at all. You will read through an intense paragraph on a treatment, then the last sentence will say that its not frequently used because 99% of your patients will die. Infuriating!
thank u po... i have a book straight a's pathophysio..=)))) and that book is very concised. i love it.. tnx!==))))
