Hey all,
I am in the process of moving to Nashville and I was wondering about staffing agencies and private duty agencies in the area. I'd be interested to know pay rates, benefits, and any experiences you've had with these Nashville agencies.

PS. I've already applied to Maxim and Favorites and will probably apply to Home Healthcare of Middle Tennessee and Angels Staffing.

I am moving to Nashville aswell, I am looking for an agency that offer fee for service. I tried searching online and did not find anything. I will be working nights and want to pickup a few cases 2-3 days a week, as I will have a lot of time on my hands during the day. I don't know what the pay rate for this or any good agency. Can someone please share they experience either in PD or Homecare.
Just an update, Favorites called me the same day that I filled out the online application and we did a short phone interview. According to the phone call, they only staff LTC facilities and require one year of recent LTC experience. I didn't get a pay offer so I don't know what kind of pay they offer. The nursing rumor mill says they pay the best of all the Nashville agencies but after researching, I'm leaning away from agencies.
I am in the process of possibly starting with Home Health of Middle Tennessee. I got a call the same week I applied and they set me up for a class/orientation/interview. I don't know much about it yet except that their PD office is in Murfreesboro (sp?) and not Nashville. They start their LPNs out at $18/hr and pay $20/hr if you work weekends. This is the same that Careall pays but Careall doesn't offer the $2/hr weekend diff (or at least my previous location's office didn't).
I'm thinking about trying care.com too but I'm still on the fence about that one!
I'd love to hear from people that are already working for these agencies :-)
Thank you for re update. I am in Nashville as yet but want to set something up before I get there. I will try the agencies you mentions.
