Ben Taub ER RN Internship Interview

Hey everyone! I have an interview on Monday with Ben Taub's ER nurse residency! I'm pretty pumped as I think this would be an incredible experience. Has anyone interviewed with the ER at Ben Taub? Any suggestions for preparation? Do you remember the questions you were asked?

Nothing! I'm guessing you haven't either? Did you interview for the ED?

Yes I did. Someone I know pointed out that technically on the Harris health timeline, it says job offers presented November 21. So maybe they are waiting?

Yeah, maybe. I also remembered the woman at the information session saying that we would get offers in the first week of December, so it surprised me when the interviewer said that they would make their decision that day.

Yeah I was surprised too! I guess it's just up to the recruiters to tell us when now!

Have you still not heard anything?

Nope! Someone from my school said that HR would get everything together over the weekend... whatever that means. So I'm expecting to hear something tomorrow. If not, I'm going to email the clinical educator and ask about it!

Still nothing! People from my school got offers for different floors last Thursday and Friday so I'm sure we will hear soon. Good luck to ya!

I still haven't heard anything. Have you? I'm wondering if they just aren't letting us know if we didn't get the job.

Yeah, they've already hired the 2 positions at Ben Taub. I heard from LBJ with an offer on Thursday but I know they aren't done calling for their offers. You might call or email someone. They are petty good about replying.
