Hi all,
I've been a psych RN for 15 years, the inpatient setting is getting tougher for me when it's very acute.
Opportunities in behavioral health home care are popping up, so I'm considering.
Is anyone familiar with quotas/points? I interviewed recently with a company that will pay a base salary that's a little less than what I make now, but after reaching a "quota" of points u can rack up points for more visits/ money. Is any one familiar with this? Is it likely I'd make significantly more, without having to work ten hours a day?
I'm not that ambitious , just want to put in my 36 hours weekly and be done, but can't afford a pay cut. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I’ve worked for pay-per-visit and now just starting points system myself. I’m unsure what it will look like in the long run but I’ve got the same question. Good luck to you though!

It's great until the HH begins to care more about numbers than the CMs safety, and you begin to have to jump through hoops and feel like you are having to defend yourself when you have to leave an unsafe environment or decline an unsafe patient, or even explain to multiple people why you involved APS.
