Hey guys!
So I have a questions regarding admissions into BCIT for those of you who have graduated from or are currently enrolled in the school. I'm finishing two courses right now at VCC (Anatomy and Physiology and English 101) to add to a total of 39 post-secondary credits. I have a total of 15 credits from VCC and I have received A's in all my classes (including Honor Roll) and have a GPA of 4.0. The rest of my credits come from UBC but they aren't that pretty. I believe BCIT requires Sociology as a pre-req and I have taken 12 credits of it at UBC but my grades around C+ to a B-. I have to withdraw from a whole semester and there are W's all over my transcript along with a D. Not good at all (it was a difficult part of my life). Clearly things have turned around now, and I'm also a volunteer at St. Paul's and have great references. Do you guys think that the bad grades from UBC will make a substantial mark on my ability to get in for Aug 2012? I'm studying my face off but am really worried that I won't get in. ):
Thanks!
Y
