Baylor University FNP

Published

Hey y'all. I'm looking into FNP programs in my own and neighboring states, planning ahead for when I have attained more experience in the profession and when I will be ready to advance my education. I recently spoke with someone at Baylor out of curiosity, and asked them about their clinical placement. They beat around the bush, but essentially said they don't provide clinical placement for you and that you'd have to locate your own preceptors (“it's a collaboration" were the exact words). I saw a thread from several years ago that has since died, despite a relatively recent inquiry to the OP. So I'm now asking: have you gone through the Baylor FNP program? If so, what were clinical experiences and/or placement like? Did Baylor help you locate preceptors in any meaningful way?

I would prefer to avoid any program that doesn't find clinical placement, so I'd like to weed out any programs that only give the appearance that they will. Thanks in advance, y'all!
