I have only 107 days left till graduation with my RN-BSN. I have been researching where I want to spend the next few years of life and education at as a new graduate.
I am a Baylor employee and love working for them as a tech but the drive is 45 minutes and will increase when I move to Denton soon.
Should I hang on to Baylor and maybe move to the Baylor Carrollton Hospital or try to work at Denton Presby as a new graduate nurse?
Baylor or Denton Presby is the question...
Any advice on either hospital would be greatly appreciated. Likes and especially dislikes.
Thank you!

My advice is just apply everywhere. There are so many people fighting for the same few jobs that get posted that its hard to be selective, you know what I mean? It might be easier for you to get on it Baylor since you are already working there, but you should stay open minded about where you will be applying so you can have the most opportunity.

I agree with gobananas15, apply everywhere. I just graduated in with my BSN and moved to TX in Dec & it seems like getting a nursing internship here is insanely competitive! I've talked to numerous recruiters who say that they expect hundreds of applicants for the positions but only a handful of spots will be available. I've also read on this site about nurses who graduated months ago and are working on getting extra certifications and joining professional organizations to help themselves stand out against the brand new grads. Keep networking and don't burn any bridges with Baylor. Best of luck!
