Hey guys,
I've been accepted to Barry's program and have chosen Tampa as my first choice for clinical location. We were told that we would most likely get our first choice, and I am curious if there are any current or past Barry SRNAs that could tell me where the distance learning classroom is located in Tampa? I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you!

The Barry University Tampa classroom is At University Community Hospital on the 3rd floor of the Pepin Heart Center. The distance learning is hard due to the Cuban accent of the patho Instructor, the type of keyboard in the classroom and the fact that you do not have any control over the keyboard unless you are the student rep. By the time you get to answer the question the instructor is on a different topic. The testing is on the computer ans is proctored and timed and often you get kicked off the website during the test. They are looking into another type of distance learning program but haven't gotten it yet. Also if you have a Mac computer the program they use isn't compatible and you have to do a lot to get it to connect. Many problems with the program. They say that it is equal to all students but it is not. The instructors do not treat you the same as they do the students in West Palm or Miami sites. The Orlando and Tampa sites are the stepchildren of the program. Be careful in this program and know that they do not care about you and don't listen to other students that they will help you by giving points at the end, they only help a few chosen people. Things are not fair.
I don't mind answering questions for you about this school and the sites, but I can't email you thru this site. send me your email and I will answer your questions.
