Hi everyone! I recently applied to Baptist Health Miami Versant RN residency that starts August 20th, 2018. I saw that the application is now closed so I wanted to get the conversation started and see if anyone has any updates so far? Best of luck to everyone who applied! :)

Hi all! I applied last week on Monday and received a call this last Friday just to go over my hospital preferences/specialties. Unfortunately, I was unable to obtain my nursing license in time for the start date of the last Versant. I'm a current employee of the Baptist system. I wish you all the best of luck!

Does anyone know if they accept new grads with less than a year experience or just new grads with no rn experience? I keep trying to call but can never get a hold of the lady in charge of the Versant program

My application was updated today to say in screening process as well. I'm not sure of a timeline for when we might hear back though

I heard that applications are being accepted till june 8 or until they fulfill the amount of recruits they are looking for and that progressively they will start call backs at that point.

Are you sure the application is already closed? I just found out about the program from someone who works at Baptist and I was going to apply.

I just checked, yes its closed. they might have reached their quota or had a deadline that's already passed. Here is the link of their career section. Careers at Baptist Health South Florida bookmark it for their next cycle. they normally have postings for the program in Dec and May for the February & July cohort respectively.

Anyone receive a call back yet? I am former Baptist employee. I applied to versant May 17th but didn't check my submissions status until yesterday but it says "withdrawn" and updated May 22nd which is weird because I didn't withdraw my application and now another RN residency application appears that I never submitted also says submission status: withdrawn updated Jun. 4th. So there's two applications showing in my job page. I am going to try contacting the recruiter Monday because that is strange & has me stressing! What does your submission status say? I've heard that if you don't have any hospital experience but for example home health you should be okay. Hospital experience less than 6 months but don't quote me. Try contacting HR they should have the specifics.
