I did my recruiter screening on the 13th. She just told me about the program, how long it would last and that she would now send my resume to my preferences. She said its up to the units to call me at this point and that they can call all the way up to mid September. The only question she really asked was why I wanted to apply to Baptist.

Thank you! Did she mention what units were available or what was the starting pay? I'm considering Baptist but an HCA facility is hiring and they would like me to start now at a medsurge unit. I don't know if I should continue to wait for Baptist.
MiamiRN333 said:Of course! If you don't, do you know if they have other positions open for new grads? She did not mention the available units or the starting pay. The pay I was told depends on the unit.
I believe that they do. You can search up online HCA careers and add all of the hospitals in south Florida to your search, you should be able to find one for new grads.

Did the position you saw specifically say new grad? I've applied to a few units and haven't heard back 😕
