Baptist College of Health science - Fall 2015

Hello, I recently applied to baptist for fall 15' ������. I didn't see any active threads so decided to create a new one. I was curious on how long it'll take to get any type of letter and afraid on would I get accepted. I made A's in anatomy 1&2 I made a B in microbiology. So my science are great and I have a low gpa ������ 3.1 but i have heard of people getting accepted on a 3.0 but also heard people get wait listed with a 3.3. I just want some insist on how the process goes. I'm sure there are others in the same boat as me. My application been complete for almost a month now and haven't heard anything. Is that a bad sign?!

Does anyone know when baptist students receive their first set of scrubs? Is it after all pre-reqs are completed and you're accepted into the actual nursing program?

You will have to buy your own scrubs, Baptist will not provide them. They will give you a kit with all of the things you will need for basic, but you will be responsible for buying your solid white scrubs, and shoes, as well as your own stethoscope.

Is that when you're actually in your nursing courses? I saw some baptist students in blue scrubs.

Yes, you will fill out an intent to progress the trimester before clinicals. Then you will find out whether you've been accepted or what have you, then you will receive all of the information about what scrubs to buy, ect. The blue scrubs are for allied health majors, red scrubs are for student nurses in their pediatric clinicals.
