Bad externship advice

Hey everyone! I am feeling so discouraged and need advice. I started a hospital externship with lots of hope to be encouraged but I was wrong. I stared late because of certain circumstances but as soon as I started I was pressured into already knowing everything on my first day and to pick a project topic I need to present. That was my first day. I have been rotating now and was told I was to quiet and not proactive enough by my supervisor. I began to try and be more assertive asking if anyone needs help and if I can observe things. Now my supervisor is saying I’m to assertive. She is always comparing me with other students and always criticizing me since day 1. I don’t know what to do anymore or how to act. I have not gotten positive feedback only complaints from her. Not sure what to do I do not want to quit but I no longer know how to feel. It seems everything I do is wrong. :(
