AVC RN program spring 2017

Hi everyone! I applied for the RN program before the Sept. 1 deadline. Has anyone gotten their blue letters yet? Do you know when the letters of acceptance go out?

I applied back before the deadline of the new criteria I want to say 12/2014, took the TEAS 4/2015 and have been on the waitlist. Per the new prereqs I took stats in the Fall 2015. I received my blue letter in September 2016 and mailed in back by the October 3rd deadline. I believe they send out letters by the second week of November.

No, not yet. I just sent my blue letter back. Last semester I was 13 on the list so hoping I get in this round. Although I live in Hawaii now so I would be traveling back and forth between semesters. I do have friends that I had taken all my prerequisites with that got in last semester. I was just needing stats.

Have you heard anything?

I haven't heard anything yet. As soon as I do I'll post! Hopefully it will be in November. I'll keep my fingers crossed us

Hey guys, I also applied for AVC spring 2017. I was just wondering if anyone has gotten an acceptance letter (or denial letter) yet? I know AVC does a lot of snail mail not email, but heard they should be coming early-mid november.

No letter yet. I heard the first 2 weeks of Nov. but I know last year most received their letters on nov. 5. Did you get your blue letter to confirm your interest yet?

yes I hand delivered my blue letter and was less than excited by the gal at the desk who informed me that they no longer do a waitlist......only to be FRANTIC and call the counselor who said YES we do still have the waitlist, we just pick less candidates from there than we use to and most are picked via the point scale... my points are not super high so I am relying on that waitlist..lol.. Im guessing I wont get in as I just applied over the summer.. but maybe next semester... btw how did you find out your number on the waitlist? Im dying to know mine.

Haha yeah I know which lady you're talking about. She told me that you can't find out your number until after the acceptance letters have been sent out. So I'll try to find out probably at the end of November. The nursing counselor told me that they take 1/2 from strong teas results and points and 1/2 off the waitlist and they accept 60 people for spring and 40 for fall. I heard you have a good chance if you did well on your TEAS. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :-) you could still get in for spring

I got a 70% so Im not gonna hold my breath on it.. lol but will stay hopeful and wait out the waitlist.... I have all my other classes finished so I can have a nice stress free spring if I dont get in right away.

Has anyone gotten a letter yet? Im wondering if they send everyone letters at the same time or if accepted ones first and then a few days later the non accepted ones?? Im just getting ancy waiting.

I haven't gotten anything. From what I've heard only people that are accepted get a letter not the ones that didn't get in. Fingers still crossed :-)
