Skills check off is only first semester...so long as you don't end up without clinicals in your area, you wouldn't need to go back to Corpus again until graduation 5th semester. Unfortunately, no clinicals were available in Austin this semester, so the closest was San Antonio. I chose to complete them in Corpus instead since my family lives there. Currently, my clinicals are 12 hours long on Sundays. Started last week and will run through December 9th. Hope that give you an idea of things!

Hi! I am a new nursing student at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, but studying remotely (eLine) and attending clinicals in the Austin area.
I am hoping to connect with other student nurses in my area, specifically because I won't have much of a student community during my studies. This might allow me to meet up with others to share ideas and study in a group setting.
I will be enrolled in three courses for the Fall 2018 semester: Fundamentals of Nursing Care, Nurse as Therapeutic Communicator, and Health Assessment.
Also, if you have any other ideas that I might consider for finding a nursing community in my area, I would love to hear them!
