Hey yall! I'm so mad right now b/c I was planning on taking this cross-cultural psychology class for multicultural studies credit for TWU but I have to pay out of district fees for that class so screw that. Now I have to find a class at my school (cy-fair college) that offers a class that counts for multicultural studies credit. I just talked to TWU and they said the whole thing about being able to take your multicultural and womens studies courses while you're in nursing school has changed. They now want you to have them done by the time you get into nursing school. They told me a cultural anthropology class would count for the multicultural credit. Has anyone taken anthropology? It just sounds so hard and boring. A friend of mine took it a couple semesters ago and she hated it. So yeah, if you have taken anthropology PLEASE let me know if I should go on ahead and enroll in the class or not. Thank you!

I know what your talkin about-I had the same issues of finding a class to satisfy the women's studies and multicultural credits so I called the registrar's office at TWU. I spoke to a guy (can remember his name for the life of me) but he said that if you receive your associate's degree from somewhere and are officially "core complete" in Texas according to your transcript then you are not required to fill these 2 credits and they have to waive these requirements for you. The reason being that these classes are specific to only TWU...however this is out the window if you dont have associates degree and are not core complete w/your school-then you have to fill these credits....just fyi
