Has anyone received Acceptance to Atlanta Technical College ADN program for Fall 2017

I just received my acceptance call today. They said I'll be receiving an official letter by Thursday.

I was a bit concerned about the time frame because the program starts in August.

I'm just a bit concerned about accreditation of the program... How do you think about that?

Hey, I'm so late responding..My apologies.

I did some research and called the Nursing Board and they are legally Accedited and students can take the RN NCLEX exam for the State Nursing Board.

I was more concerned about the RN test pass rate

.it was like 65% Last year...It could of been from students not applying themselves or lack of the correct preparation..???

I actually did not receive my letter yet. Still waiting on that...

About the accreditation, I actually asked the program director, and this is literally what she told me: that they are not accredited by a nursing accreditation, but they are SACS accredited and approved by the GA Board of Nursing. This means, you will be able to take your NCLEX, obtain a nursing license, get a job as a RN. Some schools may ask you to take additional courses if you continue your education to BSN or MSN. Their students have continue their education at Georgia State University and Clayton State University...

This definitely made me feel a lot better than before... but I am, too, feel bad about their exam passing rate. It was actually like 54%....(Page Not Found

Wow, yeah that makes me feel better as well. My goal is to go RN to BSN and I pray this doesn't cause any issues. During orientation on the 17th I will ask more questions.

Hi!

Are any of you currently in the ATC RN program? If so, do you love it? If not, give me the tea. I just finished my prerequisites there and I'm having a hard time finding anyone with anything good to say about the program.
