Hello everyone,
So I am currently studying for the Teas VI, and the ATI seems pretty easy, but I'm wondering how in depth I need to go for the science section. I see that a lot of people said they only used the ATI Teas study manual to study, but a lot of the science section are extremely broad, and tell you to look at outside sources, for more information.'
For example, for the digestive system, it suggests that I go online and search about the general functions and major hormones and enzymes of each organ...
I guess I'm just asking how deep do I need to go into studying, because I could study about the digestive system alone for a month...lol.
Also, is there anything I need to focus on with the science section? Any suggestions or tips? Anything is appreciated!
Thank you,
Angela

i took the ATI teas 6, and their anatomy and physiology are very superficial such as what cells are responsible for our skin color or, in terms of digestive, where do we start digesting proteins, etc. I studied the Science part for a week (i used the old and new ATI manual). i work and go to school full time so i study at least 3 hours everyday and the whole day (12 hours) on saturday and sunday. I got 87.3% overall and 89.4% on the science part.
Again, it will depend upon how much information you know already. i tutor A&P, and microbiology, and they helped me a lot to retain information. I suggest to try and take the ATI online practice assessment (i know it costs a lot, but it helped me a lot to know my weaknesses). Goodluck!
