I do not post on here very much but I do read the forums all the time. For the months leading up to starting nursing school, I was addicted to this forum and looked at it for hours at a time. I did this quite a bit when I was trying to figure out how to study for the NCLEX-PN.
I ended up buying 3 recommended books to help me study. Saunders 4th edition, Kaplan strategies practice and review, and ExamCram.
I also ended up buying the ATI NCLEX-RN Mobile Mentor for like $19.99 on the Android market place. My nursing school makes us buy the ATI online version to take practice exams and stuff but we do not have access to any of the books that students in other programs get when they do ATI.
Anyway I received an email from ATI about their smartphone app and checked it out. I liked the questions that ATI had but I was only able to take the tests once because they do not change questions or anything the second time you take it and I already remembered all of the answers. So I decided to spend the $20 and get the smart app. I have to say it was the best $20 I ever spent.
I was able to pass my NCLEX-PN exam on my first try with 85 questions. I did exams on my phone for 1 week prior to my exam, maybe 100 question quizzes and it helped me prepare so well for the NCLEX that I will be using the same program again to study for my RN exam.
I do not usually comment. I do not usually recommend, but I am commenting to recommend this program. I passed. First try. And I am just waiting for my license number to show up on the Board of Nursing. I just received my Quick Results today.
PS. The PearsonVue trick worked for me too!
