HI, I am an aspiring CRNA applicant. I am a recent grad (3 months experience) and am looking on what next steps I should take to get to my eventual goal of becoming a CRNA. I am working in the SICU at a level 1 hospital and have been getting experience with vasoactive drips, anesthetics, paralytics, vents, arterial lines, and swans. During my undergrad I was a Division 1 athlete and while it was a great experience it did impact the time I was able to put into my courses. I finished with a 2.938 GPA overall. I have taken non science graduate courses and received a 3.6 GPA over the 15 hour certificate. I plan on taking my CCRN in a year and am working on getting involved in other committees. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you in advance!
