I actually applied for both services. The Navy Reserve really wants me now to go in after I graduate in August 2011 with my MSN-FNP. Then the LCDR who was my recruiter told me that I could go active duty after I get on board with the Navy Reserve now. Which is what I want, active duty. The Air Force, is taking a long time to get my health professions scholarship in and my friend got it for this coming year but I don't think I'll get it since it'll be too late. Either way, I could get a loan repayment I guess. So I was wondering, who is an FNP and entered the service of either Navy or Air Force? Anything different? Same? What do you guys prefer? I want to know which services would be good for a new grad FNP.

Bump---I would like to know the answer to this question as well. I was just accepted into FNP school and I am interested in Air Force through the HPSP route. I am looking for pros and cons. Thanks in advance.:)
