As an LPN with no experience in NC, can I apply as a Med Tech?

I had a previous post from earlier today on this same board so I won't retype all that - one of my LPN friends today suggested that I apply for Med Tech positions instead of looking into CNA/Nurse Aide positions - apparently no licensure is required but since I am already an LPN (at entry level) I would qualify to do that.

What do others know about this? I tried checking NCBON but apparently since its not licensed there was no info there. There would obviously be a pay cut, but at least I could stay in the healthcare field, get experience and be able to help others. :) Sounds like a positive to me. Would love some feedback since this is all new to me. Thanks! xoxo
