Is there a reason you havnt considered ASU, NAU, GCU or the MCCCD community college programs. They are all accredited and much cheaper than the private schools. And based on looking at the program information, it does not appear to be regionally or nationally accredited. Just approved by the az BON. I would highly suggest looking into a more reputable school. I honestly hadnt even heard of this program until this post and I researched many programs before starting nursing school. GL

Where do you go to nursing school? I haven't really looked elsewhere. I like the program because it's a fast track BSN. I don't know other programs that offer that. I was looking into chamberline as well. What exactly does it mean that it isn't nationally or regionally accredited??

You should look into both ASU and GCU for fast track BSN. Do you have a bachelors degree already?

No I do not. I'm taking my pre reqs now

Arizona college is accredited by NLN.

GCU has a fast track that is 16 months. There are a list of prerequisites that must be completed and they have different satellite campuses throughout Phoenix.

I appreciate it. Arizona college is accredited by the NLN.

NLN is accredidation so I was wrong on that then. I just couldnt find it on the site, but I only glanced over it quickly. As for fast track, generally that program is for people with a current BSN already. But there are a few schools that offer it without having another degree first. All of the universities offer fast track programs, but they are for students with unrelated degrees only. I go to one of the MCCCD programs. It is the program for all the Maricopa county community colleges. There are a couple schools that offer "fast track" programs. They are not quite the same, but basically have classes that run through summer so you finish a semester early. If BSN is you ultimate goal, then you can also do the CEP program through the MCCCD programs to get your ADN and BSN at the same time. That route is the least expensive. I would highly suggest you further researching the school you lsted though. I have no expereince to say whether they are a good school or not, just that private schools like that are generaly much more expensive than other schools. Go on the BON website and see what their NCLEX pass rate is. If it is above 95% then that is good and shows they prepare nurses that can passes the licensure exam the first time. Also find out what the schools gradutation rate is to see if they fail a lot of students or not as that will be important. Private schools arent all terrible. Some have legitimately good programs, cos is just their downfall. If cost is not a factor for you, then just make sure you thoroughly research in order to make sure you have picked a good school.
