Are there any good ACCREDITED online nursing schools?

I am looking for accredited schools only. I know for the practical/skills I will have to go to a physical location. I don't mind traveling to do this. I currently live in San Diego and I frequently travel to Hawaii (my husband is there) which is why I don't want to do a traditional 5 days a week in classroom setting. I am very motivated and have taken several online classes in the past. I have looked into a few programs BUT they cost $25,000, have a year long wait, aren't accredited or don't transfer. I feel like I'm looking for a needle in a haystack.

Have you looked into UTA AP program or Texas A&M Corpus Christi? UTA has set locations for Clinical in the Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston areas. I think you have to get a preceptor at a hospital with A&M you might want to talk to their advisors.

Try Wayland Baptist University San Antonio. The only problem with this is that clinicals are somewhere here in Texas. I believe all on line will be this way. Someone said UTA but same thing clinicals will be somewhere in Texas. I'm from San Diego & started off at Southwestern but moved to San Antonio. I haven't looked for online there though. Good luck!!

Yes for WBU the clinicals ate once a month & for UTA clinicals are in many states. Many ppl from Cali are enrolled to UTA.
