I hoping to start travel nursing in the fall. I am a male RN with a couple of years of experience on a Medical floor at a busy city hospital. I will be traveling with my wife and will be very flexable about where we are willing to live and where I am willing to work. I am worried about job avaliablity nowadays with the economy. I know that I had an advantage getting my current job because of my sex, but are there any advantages to being a male in the travel industry?
Any advice would be great. Thanks a lot.

being a guy or girl nurse in the travel nurse industry has no bearing on getting a job. Experience, Experience, Experience is the key factor...and how good you can sell yourself!
