Are there any ACNPs working in Indiana?

I am working on my Master's (just started grad classes) and am intrigued by the ACNP specialty.

I don't know if this specialty is being used in Indiana or not.

I'd appreciate any input!

Hi, I am a new grad ACNP that lives in Southern Indiana (near Louisville). Not working yet but hope to be very soon in Indiana!! My desire is to work with a cardiology practice. My background was critical care and the ACNP program was more suited to my particular interests in nursing! Good luck with your program.

Thanks so much for your reply. What I don't fully understand is: what exactly will you do? Will you pull the same load a doc would, with hosp call and office hours? I haven't gotten a clear idea of how an ACNP would function. I'm not sure of the degree of physician involvement necessary, either.
