Applying to UVA as a PVCC transfer

Hey everyone,

So I wanted some advice on what my odds may be of getting into UVAs BSN program next fall. I have about 45 credits from PVCC and the only course I havent completed that UVA wants is Chemistry. Their website says that students have time to complete that or other course before they start in the fall. I have a 3.414 GPA, and I also just completed a surgical Technology program at PVCC. I got all As and Bs in that program and I have been hired by UVA as a Surgical Technologist. I plan on getting some recommendation letters from Nurses and surgeons that I have worked with.

I know I dont have a 3.8 GPA or higher... what do you guys think my actual shot at getting in is? Ive heard they only take about 15-20 transfers a year so it seems very competitive and I want this so bad!!
