So I've seen people who have applied to multiple nursing programs all at the same time. How can you do this? I'm thinking I might want to, but I don't understand how you can be enrolled into multiple schools at once. Or do you apply to the program then enroll into the college?
I'm enrolled in one community college and taking one class the spring semester. Then applying to the nursing program at this college, but there is also another community college that I attended years ago that I could apply to.

You apply to multiple schools and then depending on which schools accept you as a prospective applicant you chose a school that accepted you to attend. You don't have to have a prior relationship with the school to apply for that school's nursing program (unless they specifically state otherwise). In order to apply you need to look up the admissions requirements of each nursing program you are interested in and - if meeting their requirements - submit an application and application fee
I applied to multiple programs because I lived in a highly impacted area. Far more students apply for nursing school than there are spots. I applied to several programs in that city as well as a couple programs in other cities that I would be willing to move to where admissions is a little less competitive. Of the 5 programs I applied to only 2 accepted me. Of those 2 I accepted the program I felt would give me a better education and provide me with more job opportunities after graduation. After accepting the offer of admission and sending in a deposit to hold my spot I officially became a registered student of the school I now attend.
