Applying for NCLEX

I just finished school for my BSN, I have been working as a CNA for the last five years, and in the ICU unit for over a year. I just got offered a job as a resident RN, at the hospital I already work. This last weekend my family member got pulled over, and I was arrested for having edibles. They charger me with a misdemeanor and scheduled a date for me to go to court. This is my first ever arrest, I have never been in trouble before and I am completely lost. I was going to apply for the my license and sign up for NCLEX next week, will this prevent me from getting approved? I have already set up a time to meet with a lawyer, but it is eating me alive. All I have ever wanted to do was be a nurse, please if anyone can help give me some advice or words of wisdom I feel broken.
