Applying to Henry Ford College - how many points did you have on your rubric?

Published

Hi All,

I am applying to the nursing ADN program at Henry Ford. I was wondering if anyone else was in this program and could give me some insight as to how many points you had on your rubric when applying? I am not a CNA, I do not have a bachelor's or associates, but I do have a good GPA. Is it worth getting my CNA for the additional 5 points?

I'm getting nervous and don't want to be discouraged.. If anyone can give me ANY information on the admission process, it would be greatly appreciated. :-)

Hey there! I just applied to the program for the winter 2017 start! I'm really nervous since my GPA is a little low. However, I did well on the HESI and have some extra points on the rubric in some of the categories. Did you figure out the point system or any other information?

Your thread has been moved to the Nursing Schools / Colleges forum where the other school specific discussions are. We hope you will receive additional responses in this new location.

I've just applied to the program and ended up with 59 points. I got my GED so I never took the SAT or ACT's, which could've added more points.:/

I'm sure we will be fine! Do you know when they make the decision?

The advisor told me that acceptance letters will be mailed out early September! We should know soon! I have a friend who applied to the fall program and in less than two weeks she recieved a rejection letter, sadly. Im guessing they prob mail rejection letters earlier than acceptance letters that way people can get a head start on signing up for the correct classes. So maybe it is a good sign if you haven't recieved anything up until now?

That makes me feel a little better! Hopefully we find out soon!
