Applying too early?

Hey Everyone,

I will be graduating with my BSN in December, and have recently started applying for positions at hospitals in the city where I'd like to work. The hospital I'd like to work at is in a city about 4 hours North of mine. I graduate in mid-December and probably won't be able to start until the beginning of January (which is what I enter in the online application). A few of the positions that I have applied for online are now "closed", and I am getting a little frusturated. What do you current nurses suggest about applying for graduate nursing jobs? What have your experiences been like?
