I applied at two schools. One goes by points and ACT score, other goes by teas overall and science GPA. I have done both, and had all classes needed. The school that goes by points and ACT give up to 112 points( 4.0 GPA and perfect score of 36 on ACT) average students make between 19-24. Last year student average was 21. I have 76 of the 112 points (going by the point scale) and 21 on ACT. The other school uses only teas and A&P 1,2 . We needed overall of 70% on teas. I made 80%, was in the 75% in the program, and have a B in A&P 1, and an A in A&P 2.I was told that the average score this year was between 78-83. Now I have an 80% plus the 3.5 GPA. I know girls in both schools and asked them what they had as far as scores and grade when they got in.
Now the school that uses point scale has around 200 people or less apply each year. The school using the teas has around 150. Both take 35-40 each year. My scores at one school are the same as the girl in the program(point count). The other school using the teas, my scores are higher than hers, as are my science GPA. The school that uses the point system was said to be harder than the other, but I would learn more, and it is in my town. The other is a little more relaxed and out of town( about 20 min). I will know from one before the other by a week or so. But you have 5 days to tell them what you plan to do. What do you guys think I should do if I get in a both schools. I was told by the admissions office at both I was in the running and they were looking to see if I was beet out by higher scores. Please help me, my brain can only take so much thinking before it explodes.:stdnrsrck:
FYI.... these are two year schools.
