I wanted to do labor/delivery right out of school, but with the massive influx of new grads to my large teaching hospital, i didn't even get an interview. (not that they wanted those only wiht experience, a classmate of mine who had no experience was offered a job there)
now i see a dayshift labor/delivery position online. i applied friday night (so that would technically be monday morning, since htey didnt see it til then). position posted online until tomorrow.
i am so nervous. i really, really want this job. i applied online(as is standard for this hospital). i typed a nice cover letter introducing myself and describing my desire to work there, and saying why i thought i would be good for the job. that, and a copy of my resume i mailed to hte director of hte unit.
cross my fingers i get an interivew, and if i do, any advice for hte interview?
heck, even if you don't have advice, i need some positive thoughts. i really, really want to do this.
