Hi everyone, I applied to Eisenhower's RN New-to-Practice program in late August/early September. Just wondering if anyone else applied and has heard back yet? Thought it might be nice to share updates and support each other through the process.”

Hey! Same also applied to their new to practice program. I heard back to set up a meet and greet call with one of their nurse recruiters on Sept 4th talking more in-detail about their residency program and asking me to rank my top 3 choices but no interview call or email yet

Hey, that's awesome you got a meet and greet call lined up! I'm in the same process too—still waiting to hear back about an interview. Fingers crossed for both of us 🤞

I thought the call went alright, they just asked to tell them a bit about myself, talked about what to expect throughout the 12 month program, and then rank my top 3 unit preferences. Did they call you too?

Sounds like your call went really well! I applied to the residency on the 19th and have mainly been communicating by email so far — I haven't had a call yet. My top two were 4E Pediatrics and 3E Med-Surg Oncology, and I'm still finalizing my third choice. Hopefully we'll both hear good news soon 🤞. Which units did you rank as your top three?

Yeah same I applied I think back on the 20th for 3E Med Surg Oncology. I ranked my units: 1) 3E Oncology, 2) 2S Telemetry, 3) 4E Peds! Don't worry I'm putting it out there that we both will land interviews 🙌

Sounds like we're both lined up for some great options! I really hope we both get the chance to interview — it would be amazing to start this journey together.

Yes! I really believe we're both strong candidates. Hopefully we'll be celebrating good news together soon.
