hello all! this is actually my first time using the forum to post.i am a trauma/general surgery rn in nj. i am pursuing my np for adults and aged and have to interview an np for a paper and was wondering if anyone could help me out if they have some time. i will post the questions and if someone has time to respond that would be great and i will email later for reference information. thanks!! marika, rn

3.describe a typical day on the job and what types of patients do you see?

4.what is the table of organization of the employing organization?

5.what is the reputation of the organization?

6.what is the status of nursing; - where is it placed in the organization?

7.how supportive is the chief nurse or nursing supervisor?

8.what is your visibility, status and reputation in the external community?

9.please describe the history of advanced practice in the organization.

10.how many apn's are there currently? are they all used the same way?

11.please describe the inter- and intraprofessional relationships within the organization.

12.do you have any role in clinical policy development?

13.how have you shaped the role over time or what is your plan for role development?

14.what credentials have you earned?

15.where did you develop your role expectations and did you have role models?

16. what are the stresses and strains associated with the role and how do you manage these things? how much flexibility exists to make role modifications?

17.how do you prove the value of your work to the organization and how are you evaluated?
