Hello!

I just graduated from the PN program at Loyalist. I'm assuming you graduated from the pre-health?

Loyalist was a great experience, lots of support from staff and fellow students, there is always stuff going on at the school. The program itself was hard but worth-while, you just gotta make sure you dedicate yourself accordingly. Second semester is definitely the hardest semester, lots of people struggled through that one but we made it through. Clinical was amazing, you should definitely select BGH for your second semester clinical choice. They do a CCC placement for second semester, maternity and surgical placement for third semester, and a mental health and medicine placement for fourth semester and then wherever you choose for your pregrad. I chose 8 weeks at campbellford hospital (about 40 minutes from belleville) and it was fantastic. Many of my classmates were on the surigcal floor, medicine floor, mental health floor and the BSTU floor at BGH and everyone had great placements. They are getting new textbooks for this year so don't buy any used textbooks just yet! Wait and see what your book list will be like. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. :)
