I took Anatomy last semester and aced it with a 98%. I knew the material so, so well.
Physiology is proving to be a different animal. We've had three lectures so far on the first four chapters of our textbook, which are supposed to be "review" for us. I am completely lost. I have very little background in organic chemistry and college-level biology. The last biology course I took was honors bio as a sophomore in high school, 14 years ago, and the chemistry prereq I took (and aced) was mostly inorganic chemistry.
Our professor has a reputation for being a brilliant lecturer, and he is, but he expects that we already know all the detailed steps of the Krebs cycle by heart. He expects that we know the general structure of all biomolecules by heart. I feel stupid in his class and that is a completely new experience for me...!
Has anyone else felt this way at the beginning of Physiology and gone on to have a good grade?

I have only taken A&P together, but I did ace both of those classes easily. I would recommend Professor Fink on YouTube. He has an entire playlist on physiology that should help you. I am currently watching his playlist for the third time around . . . I love him! Every time I rematch one of his videos I pick up something new and eventually complicated concepts become second nature. You can find his lectures and resources on his website: PHYSIO LECTURE VIDEOS & STUDY GUIDES
Good luck with the class!
