I heard about caregiverlist from my adviser who gave me their job flyer for certified nursing assistant job openings. They have online caregiver career center where I applied for part-time C.N.A. jobs. I submitted online application - it is short, and easy to fill out, and I was able to attach my resume. I suggest attaching your resume with the job application, because once I got the job my supervisor said that my application looked more professional with resume attached. If you do not have a resume, there is a link to resume writer in Caregiverlist career center with step by step resume builder.
I like a lot of stuff that caregiverlist.com has to offer. Poke around their Caregiver Career Center and you'll find a lot of really useful tools. As far as the training goes -- the training they offer is the basic training a lot of states require just to get started caring for seniors. It's NOT CNA training. You can find CNA training schools on their site, but the $59 training doesn't take its place. However, after you've completed the caregiverlist training, you get a digital certificate, and during the application process, you can notify the prospective employer that you have basic training and are certified. I think it makes a difference and shows your professionalism.

has anyone taken the caregiver certification training a 10 hour online course through the Professional Association of Caregivers (P.A.C.) from the website caregiver list? it's $59 and i'm wondering if it's worth it and really needed, do companies like to see this on a resume? thanks for any advise....
