Anyone in RN4 program at Pace University?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently a pre-nursing student at Hunter college. I got accepted to Pace Univ. Nursing school and was wondering if anyone could gived me more information about their experiences in the program. :):typing

Hi, I'm a junior in the RN4 program at Pace. So far I've had a good experience. It's been overwhelming sometimes and there's a lot of work but I made some really good friends and its helpful to study together. As for clinicals, I've enjoyed them. Some instructors are stricter than others and some people complain but overall I haven't had a bad instructor and I haven't heard any really bad things from others. Most of the clinical instructors are really helpful. The tests are hard but you just have to study a lot. The professors are good, but sometimes you have to study certain topics on your own for the tests because they don't always cover everything in class. I like the program so far and I'm excited for senior year. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks a lot for the information. I just had more question. If you have all the science prerequisites and have about 60 transferable credits for the core, does it really take 3 years to do the nursing courses with the clinicals?

Thanks :)

I'm not exactly sure because I'm not a transfer student, but I would think that it does because of the way the courses are scheduled. Some courses are only offered in the fall and some only in the spring and the earlier courses are prerequisites for the later ones, so I'm not sure if there's a way to shorten the time. Sorry.
